Louis has extensive experience in international and impact finance with senior roles in both public finance and the investment banking world, and is an expert in the management of government and public finance, ESG, impact and green finance, sustainable economics and inclusive capitalism. He presently serves as an independent board member and senior advisor of several financial firms and think tanks engaged in sustainable economics and impact finance, including de Pury Pictet Turrettini & Cie in Geneva; Millennium Associates AG in Zurich; and the global platform NatureFinance (NF). His previous roles include global head of the official institutions group of State Street Global Advisors in London till 2019; Member of the Executive Committee of the Bank for International Settlements in Basel; Executive Director of the Belgian Government Debt Agency in Brussels and Director of Funding at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London. He has also worked for the investment banks Credit Suisse First Boston and Morgan Stanley in London. Louis holds a Master of Law and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Louvain/Leuven (Belgium) and an MBA from Cornell University (United States).
